At the beginning of my medical training, I was able to gain experience as an AIP and later as a junior doctor in the Trauma surgery and rescue medicine. I quickly became fascinated by the possibilities of modern trauma surgery and the almost complete recovery of the patient that this makes possible.
After several years of additional training in visceral surgery and surgical intensive care medicine, I then joined the Trauma surgery and has remained true to this with its reconstructive possibilities.
As the surgical options for helping seriously and severely injured patients have progressed and the frequency of operations has increased, there has also been an increase in postoperative complications due to the complex treatment options.
I was shocked to realise that these patients in particular, who require special and comprehensive care, are often left alone and do not receive adequate treatment. I quickly realised that the further conservative and surgical treatment of fractures and tendon injuries in these patients in particular requires extensive, highly specialised knowledge.
During several years as a senior physician at one of the few specialised departments for septic trauma surgery in Germany at the Berufsgenossenschaftlichen Accident clinic Frankfurt, I was able to acquire and deepen this knowledge.
Since setting up in 2010, I have continued to work with this patient group in close co-operation with the BG Klinik Ffm.

Suspecting an inguinal hernia, I looked for Dr Hirschberger on. During the examination, the suspicion became a certainty. An operation was necessary. He makes a very experienced impression, particularly in the field of septic trauma surgery, and in my case he made the right diagnosis straight away. I came to the practice after a fall on my knee. The almost twelve centimetre long, very well healed, accurate incision on my left upper arm reminds me that I wanted to sing the praises of the "facharztpraxis chirurgie-maintaunus" in 65812 Bad Soden/Taunus, Professor-Much-Str. 2. My cardiologist, to whom I showed the almost tomato-sized lipoma on my upper arm, which was very red around the edges, referred me to the nearby specialist surgical practice for an operation. Enderle) first gave me a good talking-to in view of the highly infectious lipoma, because I had delayed my visit to the doctor for too long, and emphasised that he would "push" me into the schedule in the early afternoon.
