A general surgeon is responsible for many clinical pictures, e.g. inguinal hernia, umbilical hernia, bursitis (bursitis) or the surgical treatment of soft tissue diseases.
General surgery used to be the generic term for all surgery, but in recent years the individual surgical areas have become more and more specialised, so that training is increasingly focused on individual areas of surgery. Mr Hirschberger and Dr Riediger have undergone many years of broad general surgical training before specialising and have each obtained a specialist qualification in surgery.
